I think we’ve all been enjoying the unseasonably warm weather this March, and Saturday the 17th really couldn’t have been more idyllic for Devry and Doug’s wedding celebration on St. Patrick’s Day. Guests arrived at Sequoia around 6:30, where the dining room was decked out in classic arrangements from the pros at Sequoia’s events team.

Cocktail hour music was a mix of classic soul, modern country and some pop; a suitably diverse selection for the wedding party, which featured everyone from the youngest to eldest of guests. After dinner, one of Devry’s nieces treated the audience to a few traditional irish folk dances to celebrate St. Patricks Day. Kudos to Nina for a top performance… it takes guts to perform in front of so many people and you did a superb job!

After the toasts the guests stormed the dance floor and stayed rocking through the night… no one was ready to go when 11:30 rolled around! The biggest cuts of the night were probably Earth Wind and Fire’s “September” and Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” two appropriately celebratory songs for the occasion. Thanks Devry and Doug for having the D-Mac crew on board for your wedding, it was a pleasure to play music for such a fun crowd.
