This isn’t my usual taste, but I’m compelled to share this face melter after hearing it in my Soundcloud stream this morning. DJ/producer DJ Daigo admitted he was after something funky when he started working on this re-bake, and the project morphed into this big room bass-dropping floor filler. Its got a very commercial pop sound—if pop goes dirty dubstep can be considered commercial (and why not? Nick Thayer jams now sell video games)—so jury is out on whether I’d play this one out, but it is still a bracing listen.
