Announced yesterday by MSNBC, adding to the already substantial buzz for their exclusive White House Correspondents Dinner After-Party at the Embassy of Italy, Cee Lo Green will be the superstar guest entertainment.
As the DJ honored to open and keep the place bumping long after Cee Lo rocks the celebrity-studded crowd, all I can say is: Whoa, this is gonna be a great party!
[yes, I’m bringing my A-game.]
As a current member of the NBC family thanks to the new hit show The Voice, Cee Lo is a pretty obvious choice to entertain the likes of Bristol Palin, Chelsea Handler, Paula Abdul, America Ferrera, Ashley Judd, Bradley Cooper, Gayle King, fashion designer Rachel Roy, Will.i.am, Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Amy Poehler*, Seth Meyers, Andy Samberg and R.E.M.
*Please, Mrs. Poehler, bring Will Arnett with you! And while you’re at it, Nick Offerman.
The question that begs asking, however, remains: Is Cee Lo gonna sing the original chorus or the family-friendly one?
