On paper this sounded like a horrible idea, but I really like how Aloe Blacc flipped Michael Jackson’s classic “Billie Jean” into something completely new and fresh. He dropped the song in BPM’s, and made it a smokey blues song with tons of emotion in his vocal tones. Anyway, we provided a link below for your listening pleasure. And if you haven’t heard of Aloe Blacc before, seek out his “I Need a Dollar” song, which hands down is one of the best songs of the last year.
