Electro-metal-pop duo Sleigh Bells have just released the first single off their new album Reign of Terror and, predictably, the results are exactly the same but completely different.

Utilizing several of the same components that made their debut Treats one of 2010’s best records—Derek Miller’s 80s metal guitar grind, Alexis Krauss’ lovely eye-of-the-storm voice floating over those terrific high school pep rally backing vocals, and a slower tempo (like their crowd-pleasing, Funkadelic-sampling “Rill Rill”)—Sleigh Bells have cast their demon pop spell again. That February release date can’t come too soon.
