A friend of mine posted these lyrics on Facebook: “And I’m not sure what the trouble was that started all of this. The reasons have all run away but the feelings never did.” That inspired my Song of the Day, “Lua” by Bright Eyes. It is quite a departure from my normal postings. It’s not even really a song to me… it is more like poetry. The guitar is just background to the lyrics that are barely sung—rather spoken—and are very moving.
