I love this re-edited version of Gloria Jones’ “Tainted Love.” I have been playing this here and there recently and it just seems to go over well every time I drop it. Soggy Disco Biscuit did the re-edit and boy does it hum.
I love Mayer Hawthorne, his music and vocals are very retro yet never out of date. His Motown style is really perfect for this Michigan native, and I love this cover of the Vince Guaraldi holiday classic “Christmas time Is Here.”
