Producer Stint has taken Lana Del Rey’s tempo-changing track “West Coast” into chilled-out electro territory with an uplifting chorus (at least as uplifting as Lana Del Rey can get).
United States of Audio spent a couple of years making this De La Soul mix which dropped on Solid Steel this month. It’s been on constant repeat in the ride; I highly suggest digging in and checking this out.
I like how Cuetec took Millie Jackson & Isaac Hayes track “Soft Lights Sweet Music & You” and worked it out in such a deep way. This is perfect late night dance music in my opinion.
Another bit of self-promotion, here is my dance floor friendly take of “Rudo Imoto” by the legendary Zimbabwean Chimurenga group, The Four Brothers. Just a simple edit: tweaked the bass, and added some percussive elements to make it work on a modern dance floor.
