Ruddyp—a young producer hailing from Virginia—has been really killing it recently. I love his approach to music. Starting out making beats for MC’s and now evolving into making what I can only describe as Chillwave meets Trap.
Toro Y Moi is one of my favorite artists right now and “Still Sound” is one of my favorite songs. His music has a very melodic quality to it but with upbeat and VERY funky undertones.
“Feel It All Around” is a great melodic tune by Washed Out—leading lights in the chillwave movement—with a smooth drum roll that you just find yourself grooving to.
