Our friends over at vinyl-obsessed multi-city blog The Vinyl District have just announced the release of their new iPhone/Android app, “the only GPS-based record store locator app in the US for you vinyl and record store obsessives.”

Now you can find the nearest spot to get your vinyl fix, no matter where you are (in the USA, at least for now). The app also sports user-built content, so you can add a store or update an existing (or–gasp!–no longer existing) store’s status from within the app itself. Very cool.
Best part: easy way to support record stores, no matter where you roam.
Second best part: it is free.
