Thank you Pandora for playing White Town’s“Your Woman”! I had forgotten all about it and it was one of my favorite tunes in 1997 when it came out! It is a reworking of the 1932 Bing Crosby song “My Woman.” It’s my favorite kind of song as it is easy to sing/scream along to and is a bit dirty. When looking up a little information on the band I found out that they were formed after the lead singer saw The Pixies, a little-known, but extremely influential band from the 80’s that I have featured before. If you have never heard “Your Woman” by White Town please give a listen, I promise you wont regret it.
