A current favorite producer, Rhythm Scholar applies his respectful-yet-expansive remix techniques to one of The Beatles’ heaviest grooves, “Come Together.” Recontextualizing the original with a slo-mo disco-rock vibe—along with tried-and-true James Brown breaks, tasty scratches, and some added jazzy instrumentation (keys, acoustic guitar, flutes, etc.)—the whole thing rolls along on a head-noddingly trippy groove. Given the Fab Four’s penchant for studio experimentation, I think John would approve. Free download!
