Sometimes remixes of already perfect songs (that used the perfect sample) just don’t work but this Air France remix of Saint Etienne’s “Spring” on Heavenly Records totally does. Thanks, Air France (RIP).

The original version of “Spring” appears on St. Etienne’s 1991 debut album Foxbase Alpha, recently repressed on 180 gram vinyl by Plain Recordings and available at Turntable Lab.
