Song of the Day: Sol Power Sound “Plaza Bolivar EP”

Back in 2009, Stylus, Deep Sang, and I threw our first Sol Power party at the now defunct Almaz on U Street. Since then—as The Sol Power All-Stars—we’ve thrown one-offs, held down residencies (Dahlak, ESL, Tropicalia, and this Summer on the roof at R’n’R Hotel); thrown an all-day block party; released a couple of successful 12 inches; and remixed other artists’ recordings. Next month, nearly 6 years after the Almaz party, marks the launch of our record label, Sol Power Sound. The first release is by us and features three certified dance floor bombs. Stream below and watch for the vinyl release, scheduled to drop May 11!
