“Happy Up Here” by the Norwegian group Royksopp is dirty and clean all at the same time. I have always loved a little dirt in my music but I also love it to be a little sweet. I think Royksopp manages both of these elements in this song. A really dirty baseline with a sweet, almost pop-like vocals.

If you’re anything like me, you have not heard of Royksopp, but they have had much success in their long career. They formed in 1998 and since then have been nominated for a Grammy, have had 4 consecutive number one albums in Norway (not to mention many other country’s) among many other accomplishments.
