Pulp is a seminal rock/pop band from Sheffield, England. They formed in 1978 and were active until the early 2000s. They were highly popular during the Britpop movement in the early-mid 90’s. There’s a documentary about them showing at several theaters all over the US this week. It’s called Pulp: A Film About Life, Death & Supermarkets.
Today, I’m sharing with you one of my favorite songs by Pulp from the early 80’s. “Wishful Thinking” originally came out on their debut mini-album called It but I prefer this version from the first of their many Peel Sessions, recorded on November 7, 1981.
