Paul Simon deserves G.O.A.T. status and this little ditty from the 1980 album One Trick Pony is one of my favorites. “Late in the Evening” is great for the dance floor, an example of Simon’s great song writing, and the sound alludes to his Graceland LP that dropped just a few years later.
Such a jam! Never fails to slay a dancefloor. And the extended percussion break is a gift from heaven.
