Song of the Day: Patsy Cline “Crazy”

Every now and then I like to hear a good county song. Not what passes for country music these days but the old school kind: Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, etc. The song I picked today is “Crazy” written in 1962 by Willie Nelson and performed by Winchester, Virginia’s own Patsy Cline and it’s a fine example of a classic country song.

This is quite simply one of the greatest songs (country or otherwise) ever. Cline died in a plane crash a little over a year after releasing “Crazy.”
