I had the opportunity to open for JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound a number of years back at Blackcat, and I was certainly impressed with their live show. When I listened to their recordings, however, I was a bit torn as not everything sounded as quality as that live performance. This 45 is their shining star achievement IMO, and it really is massive. If you dig ballads, some harmony, and generally feeling good, you WILL like this. I promise.
