NYC’s Eli Escobar has been one of my favorite DJs and producers for a while. He’s focused more on house and disco these days, but I first learned of him from his indy hip hop records in the late 90s. The Sylvester sampling “NY So Hi,” is lead single off of his debut album, a 2LP release on his own record label Night People. The video below was shot at Tiki Disco, an outdoor disco and house party Eli co-hosts with fellow NY affiliates, Lloydski and Andy Pry. Looks pretty damn fun!
