This is, of course, a classic track, so there’s nothing new here…..just quality sounds released on 12″ during my freshmen year of high school. Gotta love the groups coming out of the golden age. Black Moon’s first single, “Who got the props”, earned them alot of attention in ’92, and by ’94 when “Buck Em Down” stormed the shelves, they were a staple in most hip hop DJ crates.

Even though I wasn’t DJing yet back then, I certainly appreciated what I’d heard from those DJs, at least the bits and pieces that trickled down to my suburban Virginia household via mix tape cassetes, CDs, and an occasional music video.
