I first heard this song a year or two ago on a mix by DJ Love On The Run (a strong candidate for oddest yet awesomest dj name). Tucked among a bunch of killer caribbean disco crossover jams was this supreme slice of Jamaican soul. Beres Hammond has long been one of my favorite reggae artists and he just crushes it on this dancer. This is from his rare (on vinyl) LP Just a Man, on Joe Gibbs’ label, but don’t worry, it’s been reissued on cd, which is easy to grab on ebay.
