DC FALLS FOR ALICE RUSSELL ONCE AGAIN

Alice Russell put on a wonderful show at the Bohemian Caverns last night. Her live band, fronted by her current collaborator the very talented TM Juke on guitar, were water-tight, effortlessly providing funky and soulful backing for Ms. Russell and that absolutely incredible voice of hers. Her vibe was totally infectious. She was at turns flattered by the show of affection, yet totally comfortable and in command of the stage.
