Photographer Anton Corbijn's new Joy Division biopic, Control, opens October 5th. I am very very excited about this. Shot in high contrast black & white, it looks to build on the sadness and humor only hinted at in the first half of 24 Hour Party People. The timing is appropriate, too, given the recent sudden passing of Tony Wilson. Check out the gorgeously minimalist website here.
