Song of the Day: Sorceress “The Dose”

In love with this song from New Zealand’s Sorceress. Lead singer Rachel Fraser’s voice reminds me of Erykah Badu. Every song on their Soundcloud account is worth a listen, but “The Dose” has me hooked with its chill yet upbeat vibe. The keyboard work and sound design by Isaac Aesili is super clever and very forward thinking [Marika Hodgson (bass) and Myele Manzanza (drums) round out the live quartet]. I could listen to this song everyday and not be bored with it. The build-up at the end really brings this song full circle.
