The Sons of Darkness were an obscure NY group that teamed up with a very young and pre-disco Peter Brown (P), & Patricia Gilyard (G). Peter had also partnered up with Patrick Adams, hence the label name for the next 2 Sons of Darkness releases on P&P. This time around though, the 45 bears a description that almost all future P&P releases would abandon…….” P.P. means poor people with potentiality”. For a new start-up label and band, how can you get more down to earth and honest than that?
