Seu Jorge by infernovball

This song was first released in Brazil in 2001, and in the US two years later. Seu Jorge is in my opinion the heir apparent to Jorge Ben (author of “Mas Que Nada” and hundreds of other Brazilian classics). You might recognize Seu Jorge from the movies “City of God” and “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.” In the video he plays most of the song solo with the exception of some extra percussion towards the end. The album version is fleshed out with drums, bass and a big horn section and is a dance floor killer. This solo live version also kills.
