Song of the Day: Qveen Herby “Busta Rhymes”

Amy Renee Noonan, best known as half of Karmin has a new persona in Qveen Herby, a fast rap spitting female incarnation of the fast rap king Busta Rhymes, with trippy reserve in place of break ya’ neck over-the-top-ness.  Picking up the clean and unfashionably intelligible delivery she showed in her cover of Desiigner’s Panda (jokingly dubbed ‘the English translation’), Qveen Herby‘s standout track is the iconically titled Busta Rhymes. The song covers peoples disbelief in her ability to crush other MCs in speed and delivery, her own realization in her abilities and of course the message that once you set your mind on something no one can stop you:
