Song of the Day: Obas Nenor feat. Soma “Hotel Room”

Tel Aviv producer, Obas Nenor delivers today’s song of the day “Hotel Room” featuring Ghanaian vocalist Soma. The song is from his soon-to-be released Color Soul EP on the Sol Power All-Stars’ imprint, Sol Power Sound. The whole release is rock-solid, but I really love the layered, midtempo groove on Hotel Room. The tune started in a Hotel Room in Accra, Ghana with a suitcase full of newly acquired percussion instruments just purchased at a market in Accra. Back in Tel Aviv Obas Nenor finished it off with some  guitar, synths, groovy bass, chopped vocal samples, and chatted vocals from Soma.

Vinyl will be out in January 2016.
