*No treble, no music, no kidding

Meghan Trainor’s hit, “All About That Bass,” gets a mesmerizing foley treatment in today’s Song of the Day.

I’ve been throughly enjoying the mini phenomenon of music video parodies that feature music videos without the music. Instead they are completely overdubbed by foley artists. The best known is Mario Wienerroither’s parody of “Oops!…I Did It Again” by Britney Spears. However, the music-less re-dub of “All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor by Erik van der Ven and Eline Vera de Reus from Dutch production studio House of Halo is probably the best of the genre. I was shocked at how many of these there are.
