“Madagascar,” from the 2009 album Let’s Build A Roof, is a great grooving tune by LAKE, an indie-pop quintet from Olympia, Washington (naturally on Olympia-based label K Records). The harmonies, keyboard and repetitive nature make it a great singalong. Reminds me a bit of a Beach Boys tune. The band have three official full-length albums (K claims they’ve recorded twelve) and I am still very excited to see what else they come up with!
