This may be a pop song, but it is a damn good one! There is something so sweet about “Sara Smile” by Hall and Oates that it just gets to you. It does not stand out musically or get you with amazing vocals but it is flawless and perfect. Just the lines “When I feel cold you warm me / and when I feel I cant go on / you come and hold me / its you and me forever” makes me feel all fuzzy inside. This was Hall and Oates’ first top ten hit in the US in 1976 and I think it has held up VERY well in last 37 years.
