DC’s own Beautiful Swimmers recently dropped a 90s-styled funky breakbeat house number in the form of “The Zoo” on Brooklyn-based L.I.E.S. Records. I like the way it pumps and grooves all the way to the end. Available on the limited Music for Shut-Ins 12-inch vinyl sampler and double CD set, released last December.
