In 1984 in Springwood, Ohio a serial killer went on a murder spree preying solely on teens. Freddy Krueger‘s trial somehow ended in an acquittal based on a procedural error due to an improperly administered search warrant. Upon his release, the parents of Springwood took the law into their own hands and in a conflagration of vigilante justice, burned Krueger alive in the boiler room where he once tortured his victims.

Krueger‘s concentrated evil somehow allowed him to survive the fire, but only in a non-corporeal state where he was still able to stalk and kill his victims in their dreams. His primary tool was a clawed leather glove of welded blades on his right hand.

Some years later, a young ascendant rap star from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his super DJ partner went to the cinema with some friends to see a biopic about Krueger. The Fresh Prince became a new target for Freddy Krueger‘s murder streak but narrowly escaped harm. Jazzy Jeff wasn’t so lucky.

Don’t. Fall. Asleep.
