I’ve been listening to a lot of Interpol in anticipation of their upcoming DC show.  This will be my third time seeing them at 9:30 Club.  I first saw them perform for a small crowd in 2002, in support of headlining band Clinic.  Interpol had released only a couple of EP’s at the time.  I saw them again just a few months later, now headlining in front of a sold out crowd.  Their first full length album Turn On The Bright Lights had made its debut and was widely received by critics.

I’m looking forward to the show and I hope they play “PDA” from 2002’s Interpol EP and Turn On The Bright Lights LP.  It’s the song that introduced me to the band and made me a lifelong fan.
