Ben Watt is an amazing writer, DJ, producer, and musician. Although he’s had countless records out with partner Tracey Thorn as Everything But The Girl, he’s only had one solo full length from 1983 up until April of this year when he released Hendra, his second solo record on his own imprint and production company, Unmade Road.

On Wednesday 07/16 he’s playing a show at Jammin’ Java with the phenomenal Bernard Butler [most famously, lead guitarist for Suede, and subsequently known as one of the greatest guitarists of his generation. – ed.]. Here’s one of my favorite tracks off of Ben’s debut album, North Marine Drive.
