Even though The Aislers Set is from San Francisco, I’ll always have fond memories of their amazing live shows in NYC. And as I write this from NYC, I remember the last time I saw them live – headlining the excellent second night of Chickfactor‘s 20th anniversary shows at the Bell House in Brooklyn.

It’s hard to pick a favorite Aislers Set song (as they are all pretty stellar) but my pick for Song of the Day, “Long Division” is the band at their best. Taken from their debut album on Slumberland Records released in 1998, Terrible Things Happen, the song is pure pop perfection, complete with handclaps.
