I had the distinct pleasure of opening the 2014 One Mic: Hip-Hop Worldwide festival with a performance on The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage.

Hip-Hop In The Pocket celebrates the artistic kinship and creative exchange between two musical “play-cousins”: go-go and hip-hop. For an hour, I had a fun call and response session with Pure Perfection Band, with the cranking go-go rhythms reverberating throughout the Kennedy Center’s stately halls.
