With Valentine’s Day coming up I thought I would post a love song, and who does love songs better then Jane’s Addiction? “I Would For You” is an unappreciated tune that is really quite beautiful. In my opinion it belongs in the top 10 love songs of our time but is rarely mentioned. With very minimal instrumentation, a low bass riff and a synth, Perry Ferrell’s voice really stands out. You can hear the torture and tenderness in his voice at the same time. My favorite line in the song is the first one, “Oh baby, I’m so tired.” Please enjoy this love song and search for other unappreciated songs.
