I don’t think I have ever professed my love for George Michael on this (or any other) site before. I have loved him since the 80’s and have a deeper appreciation of him as an adult. He does something not many other pop stars do these days. He actually writes his own lyrics AND the music too. Not to mention he has a voice of gold! I chose “Kissing a Fool,” which is not his most popular song but my personal favorite. It was originally released in 1988 and Michael Bublé covered it in 2003. One of the reasons I love “Kissing a Fool” so much is the minimal jazz instrumentation which makes George Michael’s voice really stand out. Enjoy!
