We’re back for another season of Thursdays!

DJ D-Mac & Associates are back with the rinkside beats every Thursday, December 5th thru February 27th, at the skating rink in the Sculpture Garden at the National Gallery of Art! Working with the good folks at the rink, we’ve made a few changes this year:

• the DJs are free to freestyle it and play whatever gets them and the skaters moving
• café tables (and heat lamps!) are now available for post-skate lounging
• hot cocoa will be available (additional snacks and refreshments available soon)

During the evening, when the Gallery and Sculpture Garden are closed to the public, access to the ice-skating rink is restricted to the entrances at Constitution Avenue and Madison Drive near 9th Street.

The skating fees for a two-hour session (beginning on the hour) are as follows:
$8 for adults
$7 for skaters age 50 and over, children age 12 and under, or students with a valid school ID

The Gallery and Sculpture Garden are closed on December 25 and January 1.
The skate rental fee is $3 (ID required as a deposit), and lockers are available for $0.50 ($5 deposit required). Season tickets are available for $195.
