It’s the day after Thanksgiving, and like most (vegetarian) Americans, I ate my fair share of tofurkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, greens, macaroni & cheese, cake, ice cream and cookies.  Of course I was thankful to be surrounded by my loving family during the day, friends at night and the numerous blessing bestowed upon me this past year.  However, I was also thankful for all of the wonderful food I indulged in throughout the day.

Southern California punk rock band The Descendents captured my enthusiasm on the song “I Like Food,” taken from their 1981 e.p. Fat.  The band nailed it in 17 seconds with “I like food, food tastes good.”
