The Cleveland, Ohio soul trio Sly, Slick & Wicked landed on James Brown’s People imprint, and eventually Motown, after a handful of successful singles released upon the group’s 1970 formation.
“Sho ‘Nuff” is one of Sly, Slick & Wicked‘s bigger tunes and was produced by The Godfather of Soul along with Eddie Parrell of Stax. The song recently got a boost after being pulled from Timbaland’s crates and reworked.
