I’ve got to give it up to Canada’s own Skratch Bastid and The Gaff for cooking up this superfine mix of 60s & 70s female soul, funk, and R&B, Soul Sisters: Stand Up!. Mercifully light on showy scratch routines, this is 80 minutes of non-stop vintage soul, mixed with precision and humor (or perhaps that’s spelled humour, eh?).
