Newcleus’ Jam On Revenge is the first album I ever bought. “Jam On It” was a hit on B106 so I asked my father to take me to Penguin Feather (the local record store/headshop) to pick it up.

I looked through the cassettes and was not able to find it. My father suggested that maybe the band had broken up. As I became upset, he tried to give me some perspective: “A lot of people were sad when The Beatles broke up…” Eventually I found it and listened to it enough times that I still know all the words to every song. Cosmo D and the gang will always be special to me.
